Enjoy bushwalking and relaxing among nature, a mere 10km from the Sydney CBD, with these Sydney North-West suburbs hotels.
Sydney's North-West suburbs are a nature lovers' dream. You can go bushwalking in the Wallumatta Nature Reserve in North Ryde, Terrys Creek or Lane Cove National Park. If you fancy a picnic in the great outdoors, North Ryde Common and Edna Hunt Sanctuary are good spots. On the other hand, if you've got kids, make sure that you head to Blenheim Park. It's got a big slide, a flying fox and a remote control car racing track. There's also Forest Park and the Epping Oval Park and Playground, which are good for kids, too.
If you're a bit of a history buff, pay a visit to Bella Vista Farm Park, built in the late 18th century. Then head on over to Castle Hill Heritage Park, one of the oldest known farms in Australia, established in 1801, and the location of the first convict rebellion in Australia in 1804.
This region is well known for its antique shops, galleries, flower nurseries and locally-grown produce. You can pick up some flowers and produce at the markets, or maybe even from a stall on the side of the road. The Castle Hill Show, at the end of March, is another crowd drawer in the North-West.
The Sydney airport is only about 30km away. You can catch a bus or train to your hotel because getting around Sydney is really easy with its efficient public transport system. That means that you can easily explore all of the surrounding suburbs and check out the iconic landmarks at Circular Key too. So, check out these cheap flights to Sydney and book your North-West Suburbs accommodation today.
